Esperanza Spalding commissioned me to build a large-format LED installation spelling “D+Evolution” for her performance on the Jimmy Kimmel Live! show.

I designed and fabricated the sign, and wired it so the light tracked the dynamics of her bass and guitar solos through the set.

Esperanza Spalding is a Grammy Award winning bassist and singer. The whole installation ran from a single Audiolux One pedal, which she worked with her feet while she played.
