Helpful Tech

Helpful Tech is the public-benefit initiative I started in 2026 to help mission-driven people and organizations use accessible, ethical technology, and to build the tools that are missing.

Nonprofits, schools, artists and public-interest teams are already running the technology they depend on, and I work on it alongside them through two programs: Technology Literacy for Good, and the Public Interest Systems Lab.

Audiolux, Pixelboop and Universal Music Design all sit under Helpful Tech. The installations and the software come out of the same practice, and the tools should be usable by the people the art is for. Accessibility is a design constraint from the first sketch, the way cost and battery life are. The tool coaches. You decide.
