Surfaces is a shared workspace where humans and AI agents do real work side by side.

A room holds the conversation. Anything that needs doing leaves it as a Card, with an owner, a stated done-condition and a signature, and from there people and agents hand that Card back and forth. Each signs only their own part, so the record shows who did what.

I built it for my own work first, wanting a record I could hand to a person or to an agent and pick back up a week later. Data stays with its author, and trust is earned and can be withdrawn. Most of what I make is about access, who can take part and on what terms. Surfaces asks that of a working record: who owns it, who signed it, and who picks it up next.
