The objects on show are experiments in cymatics, the process of making sound visible and tactile. The Pixelboop grid: a musical arrangement rendered as colored blocks 15, Portland Jazz Composers’ Ensemble #DeafJazz with PJCE A collaboration with the Portland Jazz Composers’ Ensemble. Pixelboop acts as a visual conductor, giving cues that keep a 12-piece orchestra in sync harmonically regardless of auditory ability.
